From a teaching career, Mr Perumal Athitham advanced himself in becoming a prominent Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore. He was called to the English Bar in 1981 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore in 1982.
Mr Perumal has more than 35 years of experience and has conducted many trials and appeals in the State Courts, High Court and the Court of Appeal. He is one of the founding partners of Yeo Perumal Mohideen and Partners.
Mr Perumal was one of the pioneer solicitors involved in personal injury litigation work in industrial and road traffic accidents claims involving foreign workers. He will fight for his foreign workers to ensure that justice prevails. He is known to be a strict and firm advocate, and a determined litigator with a no-nonsense approach.
Apart from personal injury litigation, Mr Perumal is an experienced advocate in civil, commercial and criminal litigation.
Mr Perumal is married with a daughter, an avid golfer and an active sportsman.
